Sumayya’s Online Classes (New)

These are new online courses where Sumayya will share her Pakistani home-cooking with you.

Sumayya has selected some of the most popular and simple dishes from her in-demand Pakistani cookery classes. Learn to cook real Pakistani home-cooking in the comfort of your own home!

You can sign up to a class individually or you can book the entire course

Please note that we only take 6 bookings per class and up to two participants per screen.

Class content

– Welcome: Introduction to Sumayya and participants
– Getting started: Summary of the dishes and ingredients
– Cooking begins: Sumayya cooks along with participants and responds to questions
– Dish up and enjoy!

PRICES

One Class – £40 **
One whole course – £150 **

**Price is per screen, 2 people per screen.

Sourcing Ingredients and more:

  • Many people do not have Pakistani spices and ingredients in their cupboards and it can be a daunting thought to easily obtain them all.
  • Sumayya can direct you to the right place to buy ingredients before the class. At an added cost, Sumayya can have key ingredients delivered to you a day before your class (with 48 hours notice). Please request more information if interested in this option.
  • Sumayya will send you all the information for the preparation for the class (kitchen utensils, fresh ingredients).
  • Log-in details and recipes will be sent upon confirmation of your booking.
  • Sumayya can accommodate your dietary requirements!

Course A

All classes run from 6pm-8pm

Class 1: Tue 11th Aug  
– Spicy potato samosas from scratch
– Fresh coriander chutney with pomegranate
– Chickpea and spicy yoghurt chaat

Class 2 (Vegetarian): Thur 13th Aug
– Saag methi paneer
– Gujarati aloo (potatoes)
– Chickpea korma

Class 3: Tues 18th August
– Railway lamb curry
– Chickpea garam masala pulao rice
– Aubergine borani

Class 4 (Seafood & Fish): Thur 20th Aug
– Green masala fish
– Prawn bhuna
– Saffron pulao

Course B

All classes run from 6pm-8pm

Class 1 (Meat): Tues 01st Sept
– Sindhi chicken biryani
– Summer berry raita
– Chana daal with tarka

Class 2 (Fish & Seafood): Thur 03rd Sept
– Fish kofta curry
– Coriander mint pulao rice
– Pakistani seasonal sabzi

Class 3 (Vegetarian): Tues 08th Sept
– Perfect vegetable pakoras with seasonal chutney
– Cauliflower vegan korma

– Saffron mint rice

Class 4 (Meat): Thur 10th Sept
– Beef Chapli kebab with pomegranate chutney
– Chicken tikka, Karachi style
– Sesame naan bread
