A Taste Of An Italian Summer (Sunday 28th July 2019)

Date:  Sunday 28th July  2019

Time: 11am – 3pm

Location: The Old Kitchen at The Old Barn, Pollok Park

In the first of our European influenced summer classes, you will learn the basic concepts of Italian cooking as we welcome our guest chef Matteo Ladas into the Kaleyard family. An experienced chef with a background working at Cail Bruich Restaurant in the west end,  Matteo will use fresh summer produce when creating fantastic dishes that will have more than a hint of the Mediterranean.  This class is hands-on, as well as demo based, with students helping to prepare vegetables, fish and fresh cheeses as they create a delicious Italian menu.

Once the cooking is done, you get to enjoy what you have created as all the dishes are served to share and everyone sits around the farmhouse kitchen table and tucks in.  Any leftovers can be taken home, so please ensure you bring your Tupperware.
